Fallon Services completes new lighting system for Easts Hockey Club

THE Camp Hill Carina Welfare Association’s (CHCWA) Alan Ramsay Oval on Stanley Rd now boasts a high quality, international standard, wet-dressed synthetic turf surface hockey field.

A Government grant has helped Eastern Suburbs Hockey Club upgrade an existing grass cricket oval into a state-of-the-art facility, including lighting and fencing for both hockey and touch football.

Member for Chatsworth Steve Kilburn said the grant of $680,000 would help provide additional opportunities for people in the district to participate in sport and recreation.

Fallon Services (Solutions) and Australian Sports Lighting Solutions has successfully completed the outdoor lighting project at the Easts Hockey Club at the Clem Jones Centre in Brisbane.

This is the second lighting project we have completed on an artificial hockey surface. The project lights up both the artificial tiger turf surface as well as a grass surface and utilises eight poles. We used Phillips MVP fittings to deliver over 500 lux on the surface whilst meeting Australian spill lighting standards.
