Indulge in the Ekka Spirit
The annual Royal Queensland Show made its way back to the Brisbane Showgrounds and with the return of the Ekka comes a public holiday. Happy days! While you’re all (hopefully) feeling the Ekka spirit, we want to remind you that we’re open on Wednesday 15 th and have you covered from 7 am to 5 pm! Don’t forget our emergency tradespeople are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The iconic show only comes around once a year, so make sure you’re enjoying it to the fullest and while you’re there why not show your generosity by treating YOURSELF?
Stuff your face with one, two or five Strawberry Sundaes. They’re not only delicious but also a contribution to charity, as the funds will go towards The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation to power thousands of hours of research for chronic illnesses. To reach the goal of 4000 hours, on average over 6 tons of strawberries, 830 litres of cream and 22,500 litres of ice cream must be consumed. What a wonderful way to support medical research by purchasing the sweet treat!
