Energex is offering a reward of up to $400 for installing a PeakSmart air conditioning system to reduce peak demand on South East Queensland’s electricity grid.
PeakSmart air conditioning is installed by a qualified air conditioner technician accompanied by a small signal receiver which, at times of peak demand, caps the energy consumption of your system. Thereby reducing the peak pressure on the grid.
The system is set and forget, so once it is installed all you have to do is relax and rest assured you are not contributing to SEQ’s already stretched peak electricity demand.
