Insulation could become brittle earlier than acceptable by the standards. There is a risk of insulation breaking exposing cables if disturbed. Danger of electrical shock or fires due to exposure of live conductors.

Circuit breaker and RCD do not pose a safety risk, however, these electrical components are not approved for sale in Australia.

Residents should be aware that there is a serious risk of electrical shock or fire due to the recalled electrical cable.
