Fresh, Clean Air From Your AC in Shorncliffe, Brisbane
You switch on the split system in the front room of your Shorncliffe home and, a few seconds later, a stale, musty smell drifts out of the vents. It hangs around for the rest of the evening. That smell is usually mould and dust growing on the coil and fan, and it means you are breathing it in every time the unit runs.
Shorncliffe sits up on the cliffs above Cabbage Tree Creek and Moreton Bay, with the old pier, wide verandahs and some of the oldest timber homes on Brisbane’s north side. The breeze off the water is lovely, but it brings constant moisture and salt. Indoor units in damp, older houses grow mould quickly, and condensers facing the bay corrode faster than most. Many heritage homes here also run on original or partly upgraded switchboards, which may need work before they can carry a new multi-room system safely.
Fallon Solutions can clean out a smelly unit, check the wiring behind it and give you honest advice about what your home can handle. Our air con cleaning and repair specialists work alongside our own licensed electricians, so switchboard upgrades do not hold up the job.

Our Comprehensive Shorncliffe Air Conditioning Services
Damp sea air and heritage construction shape most of the work we do here. These are the core air conditioning services our team offers Shorncliffe residents, each with a clear, fixed quote and a plain explanation of what is involved. If the salt has done serious damage, we will say so and talk you through sensible replacement options.
- Air Conditioner Cleaning: stripping down indoor units to remove mould, slime and dust from coils, fans and drain trays, getting rid of that musty smell at its source.
- Air Conditioner Servicing: regular checks and coil washes for clifftop condensers exposed to salt and wind off the bay.
- Air Conditioning Repairs: replacing corroded parts, clearing blocked drains and fixing systems that trip the power when they start.
- Multi-Head Split Systems: one condenser feeding several rooms, which keeps the street frontage of a heritage home looking uncluttered.
Why Choose Fallon Solutions as Your Shorncliffe Air Conditioning Tradie?
Working in Shorncliffe means working around beautiful old homes, and our technicians take that seriously. They will talk through where pipework and units can go without spoiling a verandah or a facade, and they will not drill until you are happy with the plan. If a unit fails during a sticky summer week, we aim to get a technician out the same day so you are not left sweltering.
Our crew is ARC-licensed and fully insured, and they install and service Panasonic, Daikin, Fujitsu, Carrier and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries systems. Because Fallon Solutions is a multi-trade business, our electricians can assess an older switchboard and complete any upgrade on the same visit or soon after, rather than you chasing a second contractor. You will get a firm price up front, a straight answer on repair versus replacement and a lifetime labour warranty on domestic work.
