Appliance Error Codes

This code appears when the door won’t unlock after seven attempts. If this error appears, follow these instructions:

1. Unplug the Washing Machine.

2. Examine wiring harness connections.

3. If they are all right, substitute the lock.

If the washing machine is overfilled, unplug it in order to understand whether it keeps filling when unplugged. If so, replace the inlet valve due to the impossibility to shut off the water flow. If the washing machine isn’t overfilled, replace the sensor due to the inaccurate detection of the water level.

This problem may occur when any button is stuck. First, try freeing the button. Press the top of all buttons on the panel. If it does not help, then press down off-center on all buttons. If the button won’t get free, the control board must be substituted.

This code appears if the door won’t unlock for 7 times. In this case, unplug the appliance. Then, open the Washing Machine door if necessary. In the majority of cases, the use of force can damage the door. After this, replace the broken assembly.

This error appears when the water level is lower than the reset level during the rinse/wash cycle. In this case, inspect the tub and its elements for leakages. In addition, check the drain system installation. Note, that if water can’t siphon out of the Washing Machine, the Washing Machine is installed improperly.

This error appears if your Washing Machine fills for 40 min or when the water level won’t change after six min. In this case, check supply valves for being open. In addition, make certain the valves aren’t clogged up. If everything is okay, see inlet valves. If they are damaged, have them replaced.

If this error appears, follow these steps:

1. Unplug the Washing Machine.

2. Examine wire harness connections between the circuit board and the water level sensor.

3. If everything is all right, the sensor of water level pressure must be replaced.

Close the dryer door. If the error code is still present, disconnect the power cord and reconnect it.

If the button is stuck, try pressing it until it reappears. If all the buttons look normal, try restarting the cycle. If the code does not disappear, contact us.

First, unplug the dryer from the power supply. Then check that the wiring in the door switch is securely connected. If there is any electrical issue please call us immediately.

Turn off power to the dryer for 10 minutes to try to reset the control board. If the error code returns after power is restored, replace the control board.

Weak wiring probably exists when the dryer is connected to the wrong type of power cord. Call us to change the power cord.

Turn off the dryer’s power and unplug. Reconnect and turn back on. If this doesn’t fix the error it may be the electrical connection. Please call us immediately to check.

Disconnect the dryer and check the temperature sensor or thermostat’s resistance with a volt/ohm meter. If the resistance is more than 40,000 ohms replace the thermostat. If the resistance is over 10,000 ohms, replace the wire harness . If this doesn’t work, the electronic control board will need to be replaced.

Inspect buttons to see if any of them is stuck. The error may also appear if a button has been held for more than 30 sec.

Check drain valves for clogs.

Check the water temperature (must be at most 60 to 80 C)

1. Unplug the dishwasher.
2. Close the supply tap.

Unplug the oven and check the wiring between the control console and the electronic control board. If the problem is not solved, replace the control panel.

Check for any loose wires and make sure the oven is disconnected. Replace the transformer if any wires are damaged.

Disconnect the oven and tighten any loose connections. If the error occurs again, the main control board should be replaced.

Allow the device to cool for 3 minutes. Unplug the device and fix any loose wires. If the problem persists, the electronic control board must be replaced.

Try to turn off the mode switch. It is allowed to use the oven when the problem occurs. But if it does not work, the door lock mechanism should be replaced by one of our appliance technicians.

Make sure the lint screen is clear and that the vent from the dryer to the outside isn’t crimped or squashed or that the vent that exits the home isn’t clogged.

If the dryer is too full, reduce the load size. Unplug the dryer and inspect the heating element; if it does not heat up enough to dry laundry. If any components of the heating system are not working properly, call us we can be their ASAP.

This failure requires the assistance of a Fallon Solutions appliance technician. Electromagnetic switches are usually controlled by the circuit board, but sometimes the contacts are burned out and require replacement.

If the wire harness on the lint screen temperature sensor is loose, disconnect the dryer and reattach it. If the wire harness is damaged, it should be replaced.

Unplug the dryer and inspect the heater temperature sensor’s wire harness connections. If the wiring harness is loose, reconnect it. If the wire harness is damaged, it should be replaced.

To reset the control module, unplug the dryer. If the message reappears after power is restored, the control module should be replaced.

Using hard water regularly leads to such a problem soon. That is why it is recommended to use a special product for descaling regularly. E12 error indicates that there is too much limescale to keep working. You need to remove the scale.

This error indicates that the temperature of the water filling a tank is higher than 75 °C. If you are sure that water temperature is lower than 75 °C, then the reasons may include a defective temperature sensor, wire gage sensor or control board failure.

Special water flow sensor has to control the amount of water to fill the dishwasher`s tank. It ensures the correct work of a machine. A dishwasher registers the level of water in a tank. If it fails to register it, when water filled a tank, it means a problem occurred. Please unplug the wire, check the flow meter and then check if a dishwasher registers the water level correctly. You can visually inspect the defective parts but the replacement works should be entrusted to the skilled technicians.

If water leakage happens, the machine will inform you. First of all, you need to check the possible places for leakage. It may be hoses or a place where such hoses are connected to other dishwasher parts. A defective drain pump may also be a reason. In this case, the only way is to replace a defective drain pump with a new one.

This error can bring lots of problems. When it occurs, it means that the machine uncontrollably keeps feeling it’s tank with water and you need to check the intake valve. Clean it if needed. If an intake valve is faulty, it should be replaced. You should also check the water flow gage. Before doing it drain all water out of a dishwasher and unplug a machine.

The reasons may be the problem with drainage or deterioration of the water sensor. Check the tube to clean it and see if there are any breakages.

You need to inspect the inlet valve. Even if this error occurred, dishwashing will be done. However, the quality due to the water level will be low.

A power outage or other power issues could lead to this error. You will need to check if everything is ok with the power supply. Check the following machine parts – pump blade, voltage generator, electric motor condenser, and pump. This error signifies a blockage in a drain pump. The debris may clog the pipe. You should check it and clean if needed. Plus, you need to inspect the dishwasher filters. If filters are too dirty, it is better to replace them completely instead of cleaning. It can be difficult to reach a drain pump and filters for an ordinary owner. In the case of an E23 error code, it is likely that a drain pump is broken and should be replaced with a new one. Call us to repair straight away.

This problem is also related to the dishwasher filters. They must be too clogged and need to be cleaned or replaced.

This error means the PTC sensor is defective. It may also mean that there is a problem with the connection. The sensor wires may become defective for any reason and need to be replaced with a new one. You will need to call us to get this fixed.

The problem looks the following – the oven does not heat and the alarm buzzer works continuously. The error is provoked by incorrect work of the network connection. To fix it, please, switch off the electric fuse in the fuse box and then switch on to ensure the correct work.

If you are experiencing such a problem while preparing food, please stop doing that. It is the right time to switch on the cooling fan to help the oven to cool down. As an oven cools down, the Er3 error will indicate there is no longer a problem and the oven is ready to work.

Push the Stop bottom until Er8 stops lighting. You are able to use the oven in the ordinary mode.

The E115 error means that temperature inside the oven is too high. It is easy to fix this issue. The oven needs time to cool down and come back to the correct working temperature. It is an interface connection problem. The Bosch oven is connected with the microwave oven. In such a case, keep the oven off the power supply for one minute. Then try to switch it on.

There are a number of reasons that may cause a F31 error. First, it may be a problem with the control board. The solution is to clean it. 5. If wiring connections are all right, the lock assembly needs to be replaced.

Make sure that your washer is not clogged up. Inspect hoses for any types of blockage. Unplug your washer and inspect the wire harness connection between the EC board and the drain pump. If the drain pump does not run after activation, call us to diagnose. If there are any loose wires, call us straight away, we can replace the wires if they are damaged.

Unplug your washer and press the Start/Pause button for five seconds before reconnecting it. If the problem persists, call one of out licensed technicians.

Failure might occur during the cycle. As a result, the cycle cannot be finished properly. The user must launch a new cycle.

1. Remove the lint filter and clean it. Before you put it back, make sure you remove all the lint.
2. Remove the exhaust hose from the unit. Check to see if it’s clogged after unplugging it, and if so, remove any loose lint.

• sump motor functioning
• float assembly functioning
• sump assembly leaking

This error denotes a problem with the inlet. To solve it, check whether the hose is clogged up or not. Also, make certain that taps are open.

This code shows problems with the dishwasher motor. Follow these steps to eliminate the issue:

1. Press the ‘Power’ button to turn the dishwasher off.

5. Turn the dishwasher on by pressing the ‘Power’ button.

This code denotes a motor problem. Follow the steps below to eliminate this issue:

1. Press the ‘Power’ button to turn the dishwasher off.
2. Turn off the circuit breaker.
3. Wait for about 10 sec.
4. Turn on the CB.
5. Turn the dishwasher on by pressing the ‘Power’ button.
6. Launch a new cycle.

This code denotes that the dishwasher has problems with water filling. The dishwasher detects an excessive amount of water, which is why the drain pump gets turned on automatically. To eliminate the issue, follow the steps:

1. Press the ‘Power’ button to turn the dishwasher off.
2. Wait for about 10 sec.
3. Plug your dishwasher in.
4. Turn the dishwasher on by pressing the ‘Power’ button.
5. Launch a new cycle.

This error denotes that the dishwasher has sensed a heating or heater issue. This code may appear if your dishwasher fails to heat water or overheats it. Follow the steps below to deal with this error:

1. Press the ‘Power’ button to turn the dishwasher off.
2. Wait for about 10 sec.
3. Plug your dishwasher in.
4. Turn the dishwasher on by pressing the ‘Power’ button.
5. Launch a new cycle.

This error code may appear to help you avoid serious problems due to power interruption. When the power is restored, you will need to press any button on the dishwasher control board and hold it for 10 seconds. After this, the display will be cleared. If PF error occurs repeatedly without any power troubles, check the circuit breaker. It might be failing to meet electrical requirements of the dishwasher. In this case, power your dishwasher with a suitable circuit breaker.

Door latch switch or assembly needs replacement.

This error lights up in case the current temperature in the oven heating chamber has been equal or less than 65 °C for over 5 minutes while in the preheating mode with the door closed.

The A1 error code indicates that there is no water supply to the Fisher & Paykel dishwasher. Check valve to ensure water supply to the dishwasher has been switched on.

The A3 error is common on Fisher & Paykel dish-drawers where the drainage hose becomes blocked over time or kinked. Check the connection at the to drainage pipe where it is connected to the trap spigot.

An A6 error code can occur on a Fisher & Paykel dish-drawer dishwasher due to a loose spray arm or a combination of low water pressure and excessive foaming. If there is excess foaming please ensure you only use the approved dishwasher tablets.

The A7 error means the auto recovery program has started as the dishwasher has detected excess foam in the drawer. Please check and ensure that you are using the right detergent also known as dishwasher tablets in Australia before running another wash program.

The A09 error on a Fisher & Paykel dish-drawer dishwasher means that the sanitise cycle hasn’t met the  temperature needed to sanitise the dishes. This error code only applies to DD*C Models.

The A10 error on a Fisher & Paykel dishwasher indicates an issue with water supply to the dishwasher, meaning the dishwasher is not receiving or not detecting any water entering the dishwasher. This can be caused by the water tap not being turned on, insufficient water supply pressure, water inlet hose is kinked or not connected correctly.

The A20 error that is found on Fisher & Paykel dishwashers is a fault with the drain or drainage as excessive water is remaining above the filter plate after the rinse cycle. You should check for potential kinks and blockages in the drain hose and the outlet connection.

Water temperature error. Switch dishwasher OFF and ON again. If fault persists call Customer Care.

Door lock signal error. Switch dishwasher OFF and ON again. If fault persists call Customer Care.

Motor fault.

Temperature fault. You may need to have a tempering valve installed on your water supply, to ensure that incoming water is less than 65C (149F).

Heating element failed.

Fill fault.

1. Turn the DishDrawer water supply on.
2. Ensure the spray arm is placed on the impeller and can rotate about the centre. If the DishDrawer® is full of water, it will need to be emptied manually.

The fault code U2 indicates that the dishwasher has picked up and issue with the way the dishwasher has been loaded. You should check and ensure that no items extend beyond the height of the drawer of the dishwasher.

To get rid of the error code, drain your washing machine, and then start it up again.

Examine the connections’ contacts. Straighten them out if they’re twisted, bent, or out of the groove, then firmly insert them into the socket.

Reset your washer by turning it off and on. If that doesn’t work, call a technician.

Check the water inlet valve, drain pump and pressure sensor. If any of them aren’t working, you should buy new ones.

This code can be shown when a power failure occurs. Push the ‘Start’ button in order to continue the cycle. Then, stop it for clearing the display. If there are repeated power failures, examine an outlet cord of the appliance.

Unplug your dryer from its power source and turn it off for a few minutes. Restart your dryer after a few minutes to check whether the problem has disappeared. If that doesn’t help, call a specialist.

Appears when any button is stuck on one of 2 user interface control assemblies on the console. If you cannot free the button, replace the IC with a stuck button.

This error shows the outlet thermistor, which is electrically shorted. To deal with the problem, unplug the appliance and then test the thermistor’s resistance. It should reach about 10,000 ohms. If it is damaged, call a specialist.

The system finds an inlet sensor of temperature, which is electrically shorted. Unplug the dryer. After this, check the thermistor resistance. It must be about 50,000 ohms.

Depending on the extremes in water temperature — it can be too cold (below -3°C) or too hot (above 85°C) — the thermistor in the dishwasher returns this code. However, keep in mind that the temperature sensor may fail and work incorrectly and also trigger an error like this. Consequently, consider replacing the sensor if it is faulty.

When the machine returns this error, chances are high you have to deal with some leaks. The first thing to do is to drain water from your dishwasher. Then inspect your appliance for a leak, take measures to remove it, and the code will go off.

Seeing this error, you may want to check if your machine warms the water the way it should. If your water is not hot enough or it takes the machine to long to warm it up, the following reasons may need checking: the heater has a malfunction — the highest probability; the thermostat is faulty; the broken communication between the main electronic control unit and the heater (inspect all wiring and connections).

The code lights up when your dishwasher fails to drain water as it designed to do. To eliminate this condition, try to check if the drain pump is blocked or has malfunctioned. If this is the issue, you will have to clean or replace the pump. You will also probably want to check drain hoses in your machine and drain pipes in your home drainage system for any possible clogs. One more reason is that the draining hose of your dishwasher is fixed on a level too low, allowing it to siphon water before the washing cycle is complete. You can remedy this malfunction by lifting the drain hose to the appropriate level. Besides, there are low chances that an optical sensor or the main control unit went faulty.

This error lights up when a problem with the drive rotor (the rotating part) occurs. Chances are extremely high you will need to have the dishwasher drive replaced.

When the dishwasher lights up this error, it means there is a problem with water flowing inside the machine. At this point, you may need to check various probabilities. We recommend you to start with the inlet valve letting water inside your appliance, check if it is in working condition or is not blocked. If it is out of order, replace it with a new one. Then, you may want to check the inlet hose for any kind of blockage and clear it if possible. Another probable reason is the issue with your water supply system. This is when you would better examine the tap to which your dishwasher is connected through the hose. It may be turned off. Turn it on to eliminate the problem. If none of these helped, call a specialist.

This error indicates that the flow sensor is out of order. However, it may also show some issues listed for the F6 error which include the following problems: the water inlet hose may be blocked or bent; the inlet water valve went faulty; your water supply tap is turned off.

This code lights up when the water level in your dishwasher is too high. The causes of this malfunction can be as follows: your dishwasher cannot drain water because of the blocked filter there is some issue with the water inlet system; your water in the machine is too soapy and forms excess foam (add less detergent during your next cycle).

Your dishwasher doesn’t stop pumping water inside the tub. You may have two possible issues on hands: it is either the inlet valve that went faulty and cannot be closed or the main electronic control unit shortcut. Check both components for malfunctions and replace the one that went out of order.

The dishwasher will eventually light off this error if it warns you to engage the next test cycle to diagnose some issues. (Read about the test cycle in your user manual. To find out the reasons of this malfunction, run some tests on the sensors or check their connection to the main electronic unit. Your machine has the following sensors: a water temperature sensor, an inlet flow sensor, a water level sensor, a flow pressure sensor, etc.

Your dishwasher will return this code if there is a problem with the optical water sensor in it. The sensor may not actually be faulty but indicate that the water inside the dishwasher is very dirty. This condition triggers an additional rinse cycle. If the error persists, your optical sensor may be blocked with dirt and needs cleaning. If it does not help, you may want to examine the sensors for their firm connections to the dishwasher control panel. This error code may as well light up if you add too much detergent during your wash cycle and it causes excess foaming that prevents the sensor from making accurate readings.

The code will be on if the dishwasher experiences problems with diverter valve operation. This valve directs the water flow to the upper spray arm. Check this valve for any malfunctions and replace it if necessary.

In case your geographical region has hard water, this sensor will inform you about it, so you can add some dishwasher salt for your washing cycle to make the water softer. However, if you know the water in your region to be soft enough or you add enough salt to your cycle, the dedicated sensor may have gone faulty and needs replacement.

It means there were no other failures and is displayed when you press and hold the CANCEL button for 5 seconds. Release the CANCEL button and press it again to make the code disappear from the display.

Unplug your range from the mains and connect the appropriate wire harness back in place where it belongs. Plug your range into the socket to supply it with electrical power and press the CANCEL button to clear the error code. In case it returns back in 60 seconds, you will have to replace the keypad itself. However, the issue may persist even if you replace the keypad. If it does, you’ll have to replace the electronic range control (EOC).

Unplug your range from the mains and connect the appropriate wire harness back in place where it belongs. Plug your range into the socket to supply it with electrical power and press the CANCEL button to clear the error code. In case it returns back in 60 seconds, you will have to replace the keypad itself. However, the issue may persist even if you replace the keypad. To know if the door switch is operational, you have to look at the range light while you open or close the door. If the lights go on while you open the door and go off when you close it, it means the door switch is in operational order. Replace it if you found out it is defective.
