Solar Hot Water and Ridge Top Plumbing in Wights Mountain, Moreton Bay

Monday morning, the kids are running late for school and the shower runs lukewarm, then cold. The solar hot water system has had a few overcast days and the booster isn't kicking in. On Wights Mountain, where a lot of homes rely on solar or heat pump hot water on north-facing roofs, a faulty booster element or thermostat is a common way to start the week.

Wights Mountain is a hilly, semi-rural suburb near Samford, with acreage homes on ridges and slopes, sweeping views and plenty of established bushland. Many homes rely on rainwater tanks and pumps, along with on-site wastewater systems. Steep driveways and sloping blocks move stormwater quickly across properties during summer storms, and roots from mature eucalypts and other trees push into drainage lines in the dry months. Solar collectors and roof plumbing on exposed ridges also cop more wind, sun and weather than homes tucked into the valley.

Fallon Solutions has qualified plumbers who repair and install solar, heat pump, gas, electric and instantaneous hot water systems. We test boosters, thermostats, valves and collector plumbing to find the fault, then explain whether a repair or replacement makes more sense for your home.

Why Choose Fallon Solutions as Your Wights Mountain Plumbing Tradie?

Nobody wants cold showers for a week, so we offer same-day service on Wights Mountain where possible, especially for hot water breakdowns. Our plumbing technicians and gas fitters are licensed and know solar and heat pump systems well, and they carry the testing gear to pinpoint faults in boosters, thermostats and valves. We explain what's wrong, what the repair involves and how much it costs before starting, so there's no confusion and no pressure. If your system is near the end of its life, we'll give you an honest view on whether a repair is worth the money or whether it's time to plan a replacement.

We're on time, polite and careful in your home, and we clean up properly once the job is done, including any mess on the roof or around the tank stand.
