A thousand different parts for a thousand different jobs
When a pipe bursts, the hot water system breaks down or the power goes out, things have to happen fast, so these issues can be fixed as soon as possible.
Due to the current pandemic, it doesn’t come as a big surprise that some trade service companies are having a hard time trying to source certain parts (especially parts that are shipped from overseas).
Luckily, we at Fallon Solutions prepared for the worst and were able to fully stock up our warehouse before the pandemic hit hard. We pre-ordered parts for all our trades early on, to be sure we won’t run out and can continue to provide the best quality parts and systems for our customers.
All of our technicians’ vans are fully stocked up with equipment and tools, so they are able to fix most things on the job straight away.
If it’s a bigger job that e.g. involves replacing a hot water system, relining a drain etc., it’s our warehouse people’s job to get the right equipment to the right technician at the right time. And because we got over 100 tradespeople working here at Fallon, there’s a lot going on behind the scenes.
Whoever has been to a warehouse of a multi-trade service company early in the morning before the technicians go on their first job of the day, knows what “busy” means. Our warehouse staff is preparing orders, our technicians are picking up parts and getting everything ready for the day. We all have processes that we follow, so everything runs smoothly and so that our technicians will get to their jobs on time.
Our store’s people are not just great communicators and experts in time management, they got everything under control; from big bulky items to tiny screws – they know where to find which part and which technician needs it.
