Easter is one of the most fun times of the year but sometimes it can be challenging to keep the kids entertained during the Easter Holidays. We picked five ‘egg-citing’ free and low-cost family activities to do in Brisbane this Easter Sunday, to help you and your kids have an unforgettable time.
Children’s Farm – Newmarket Village
Sunday 21 April from 11 am – 4 pm
Newmarket Village will hold a free Pop-Up Children’s Farm with a variety of farm animals including llamas, alpacas, angora goats, teddy bear sheep, Damara lambs, mini goats, ducks and chickens. Whilst being guided by farmers, kids can cuddle and feed the adorable animals.
The Shed’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt, Burpengary
Sunday 21 April from 2 pm-6 pm
With fun activities such as face painting, jumping castles, a petting zoo, live music, food stalls and a visit from the Easter Bunny, you can be sure that the Shed’s Easter Egg Hunt will put a smile on your child’s face. Easter Sunday Family Fun – Victoria Park
Sunday 21 April from 10 am-2 pm
Easter Sunday means Family Fun Day – Get the cameras ready, when Mr & Mrs Easter Bunny visit Victoria Park’s Bistro between 11 am to 2 pm. Not only will they have baskets full of treats, there will also be jumping castles, egg & spoon races, Easter crafts, petting zoos, face painting and other giant games.
Easter Eggstravaganza at Sandstone Point Hotel
Sunday 21 April from 10 am – 5 pm
A whopping 6,000 eggs are up for grabs at the Easter Eggstravaganza at Water World Central! The event also features live music, children’s rides, inflatable pools and slides to cool down after the big egg hunt.
