3 motivational tricks to make working from home more fun

Many employees are getting used to working from home which is a fantastic change for some, but for others it can be a little challenging being stuck at home for most of the time and not being able to socialise with co-workers.

Here are three ideas to help lift your spirits while you’re working from home.

1. Play some music or stream a podcast

Playing motivational beats or a podcasts can have an amazing effect on your well-being and get you inspired (as long as the background noise doesn’t become too distracting and you can still focus on work).

2. Get movin’

Getting a little movement and exercise in whenever you can is vital for both your physical and mental wellbeing. We’re not talking about a full-on gym session at home, but even taking short work breaks to stretch can improve your mood and productivity.

3. Spend time with your fury friend

It’s proven that pets can have a calming effect on their owners and help them relax. Indeed, studies have shown that interacting with your pet while working can lead to lower stress levels and give you a great excuse for a break to think!
