Things to do before you call a washing machine repair man
If you are unsatisfied with the results your washing machine is providing then you may need to get it repaired, but before you do here are a few tips that may help out.
Often people expect too much of their machine, throwing in clothes with stains from several days ago. If you leave stains and spots for too long before you wash then you are making it extra difficult on your washing machine, so treat them as soon as you can.
Use warm water and a stain remover before putting them in the machine. You should always use more water than you think you need. If the machine is half full of clothes, make sure it is three-quarters full of water. If your load doesn’t circulate properly then all your clothing will get twisted and frayed as it is pushed around. It will also put a strain on the agitator and the agitator seal, meaning that you may get oil leaking into the machine. Remember, water is cheaper than clothes and washing machines.
Don’t put too much powder in, always follow the recommended dose. Frequently, people who are frustrated with their washing machines will pour more powder in, but the powder has been formulated to work at exact amounts and will often provide worse results if you over concentrate it.
Hopefully, these tips will help you out. If not, then it is time to call the washing machine repairman.
