The new, improved and relocated Gold Coast Show kicks off tomorrow, Friday 31st August, and runs across the weekend to Sunday 2nd September.

What’s new at the Gold Coast Show in 2018?

The move back to the Broadwater Parklands in Southport has been made in 2018 after the last few years of less than impressive attendance. But that’s not the only change to the show this year.

This year Gold Coast Show entry is free! Helping to make it a more affordable and accessible entertainment option for all Gold Coast residents.

The show will spread over the Broadwater Parklands from the Aquatic Centre to the Sundale Bridge, as well as Owen Park, Australia Fair, Southport CBD, and the Southport Pony Club. Offering all the show’s regular attractions plus a whole lot more the 2018 lineup encompasses everything from camel rides, arts and crafts displays, show bags, woodchopping, as well as a cake and cooking display.

A bonus event this year is the LUMINOCITY Festival, a huge light, laser, and holographic show on each night put together by the VIVID Sydney team. Parts of the show can be seen from across the area; Marina Mirage, Broadwater Parklands, Nerang St Mall, and Australia Fair.

Each show day will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display over the Broadwater.
