Australian Sports Lighting Solutions History

Australian Sports Lighting Solutions is the dedicated outdoor lighting division of Fallon Solutions. Neil T Fallon established the electrical contracting business in 1962 and over the years the need for sports and outdoor lighting grew. Neil and the team began to complete small outdoor lighting projects as well as designing lighting installations for sports fields.

Brisbane Aerial Services, owned by Neil at the time was already the leader in South East Qld in the areas of mast and tower installations for TV and radio aerials. This expertise combined with the electrical expertise made designing larger sports lighting installations a natural progression.

Over the last five years the business has grown from completing less than $1m of work per year to up to almost $10m per annum over the last couple years. Now with a dedicated General Manager, Project Managers as well as specially trained electricians and apprentices the business is set for further expansion.

Projects have been completed from as far North as Cairns to Launceston in Tasmania in the South. The company holds electrical licences and insurances across the East Coast of Australia. Long standing partnerships have been formed with suppliers, engineers, designers and subcontractors to ensure that the proven model is easily replicated for new installations.

This is also leading the company into delivering communication tower installations, airport lighting refurbishments and other technical outdoor applications.
